Published: Updated:

Japan’s Emperor Akihito on Tuesday received at his palace in Tokyo King Salman bin Abdulaziz, who arrived two days ago as part of his Asia tour. The emperor hosted a special luncheon in honor of the King and the guests visiting Japan.

Akihito received the Saudi King three years ago when he was a crown prince, and hosted Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman last September.

During King Salman’s visit to Japan, he is staying in the State Guest House, Akasaka Palace.

The Imperial Palace is located in the Minato neighborhood on the outskirts of the Japanese capital, near the port.
