Lebanese diva Myriam Fares stars in Peter Pan show in Dubai
Arab world’s “Queen of the Stage” Myriam Fares plays the role of Tinker Bell for the show “Peter Pan: The Never Ending Story.”
Known as the Arab world’s “Queen of the Stage,” Lebanese singer Myriam Fares starred on Wednesday as the fairy Tinker Bell for the show “Peter Pan: The Never Ending Story.”
The show featured Fares for one night only at the Dubai World Trade Center arena.
Famous for her hit singles “Ana wel Shouk”, “Nadini” and “Whahichni Eh,” this time Fares sang: “You Raise Me Up.”
Fares has released five albums since 2003, and has appeared in films, advertisements and exclusive interviews.
“Peter Pan: The Never Ending Story” boasts a 16-track original score, including music from Robbie Williams, Rod Stewart, Supertramp, Seal and Puccini.
Based on Scottish author Sir James Matthew Barrie’s children’s classic published in the early 1900s, the show will run from March 5-13.
