“Rambo” to take on ISIS in new movie
Hollywood hard man Sylvester Stallone has confirmed that his gun-toting character will be fighting ISIS in the latest movie
Hollywood hard man Sylvester Stallone has confirmed that his gun-toting character Rambo is to appear in yet another film, this time fighting the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), UK daily The Independent has reported.
And in an effort to ensure the latest film ‘Last Blood’ is as realistic as possible, he has apparently currently got teams scouting Iraq and parts of Syria.
“We have teams scouting Iraq and parts of Syria where ISIS have their greatest strongholds,” Stallone announced at Comic-Con.
“We’re working with the locals there to help deliver the most intense and realistic Rambo movie experience ever.”
Previous films to come out of the Rambo franchise have seen the headband wearing, revenge-fueled hero take on the bad guys in Vietnam, Thailand, Afghanistan and Burma.
In this film – which currently has no release date – will see him head to Syria. It is quite different from what was apparently the original plot that would have seen him take on the Mexican Cartel.
