Yemen at the heart of US TV show Prison Break’s comeback
The show kicks off with Michael Scofield still being alive – but behind bars again, this time in a prison in war-torn Yemen
The latest season of American hit TV show Prison Break – expected to begin in March this year – will have Yemen at the heart of its new episodes.
The serial drama, which was first aired in 2005, revolves around two brothers who devise an elaborate plan to break from a high-security US prison. The show ran for four seasons but was stopped in 2009.
The promo video gives a sneak peek into what to expect from the new season, which kicks off with Michael Scofield still being alive – but behind bars again, this time in a prison in war-torn Yemen.
Filming is said to have taken place in several locations in Canada and Morocco.
