Moroccan rapper La Fouine’s song about Egyptian footballer Mohamed Salah has attracted more than one million views within hours of its release earlier this week.
The rapper wanted to pay tribute to Salah after an outstanding season in which he scored 43 goals in all competitions.
Salah has helped Liverpool, who are third in the Premier League, into the Champions League semi-finals for the first time in 10 years.
He has also helped his national team enter this year’s World Cup in Russia after years of Egypt’s absence from the tournament.
The rapper, who has more than 100 songs and 14 albums, has previously dedicated a song to Ivory Coast player Drogba and Frenchman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
