Mickey Mouse & Friends to rock out in Abu Dhabi festival
The event will feature a host of Disney stars, including Ariel, Jasmine, Aladdin, Woody and Buzz
Mickey Mouse is coming to Abu Dhabi with his friends, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy, to perform a music mash-up at a music festival in the UAE capital from Feb. 26 - March 2.
The event, Mickey’s Music Festival presented by Disney Live!, will feature a host of Disney stars, including Ariel, Jasmine, Aladdin, Woody and Buzz, who will be “performing in a music medley of mega proportions,” a statement from Disney Live! said on Monday.
The star of the show has already started touring Abu Dhabi, according to the statement.
“Mickey Mouse took time out to visit many attractions on the world-famous island, including the iconic Yas Viceroy Hotel, Yas Marina, and Yas Marina Circuit … With his camera in hand, Mickey paused to wave at onlookers and embrace delighted fans of all ages.”
The group will be performing hits from the blockbuster movies of Disney’s Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, and Disney Pixar’s Toy Story, all remixed to a variety of rock, pop, reggae, hip-hop, jazz and country jams.
Disney Live! Mickey’s Music Festival recently completed a tour of Turkey and Cyprus with a cast of local performers.
