Chocolate maker Cadbury has hatched a new plan: to open a pop-up café in London dedicated to its popular Creme Egg line.
The British multinational confectionery company is expected to open the café on Jan. 22, in the capital’s lively neighborhood Soho, lifestyle blog Secret London reported.
It is unclear how long the café will be open for and what exactly it will feature on its menu, however the creamy, sweet, chocolate egg-shaped treats are expected to be on the menu.
Since the Crème Egg’s introduction five decades ago, the small chicken’s egg size treats have garnered a cult following, despite allegations by fans of their shrinking size and quality in recent years.
According to the Telegraph, Crème Egg sales have recently been in decline after the British chocolate maker - which was bought by U.S. foot giant Kraft in 2010 - changed the recipe for the chocolate shell.
