Finnish travel writer is first European woman to receive Saudi driving license
Finnish travel writer and founder of the Blue Abaya Laura Alho has become the first European woman to receive her driving license in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday.
Alho took to twitter to share the big news saying she is ready to “explore Arabia.”
She also thanked the Riyadh traffic office (Muroor) in a tweet for their proper and ordered handling of the process of converting her foreign driving license to a Saudi one.
Alho expressed her joy during the experience saying “everyone was friendly, supportive and smiling.” People expressed their support for her and congratulated her on her achievement.
