In a delightful scene, rainfall accompanied with hail precipitation on the region of Asir, southwest Saudi Arabia, has blanketed one of the area’s mountainous villages in a slushy coat of white.
Farms and forests in the mountainous area of Al Sawda village had been covered with hail, in what was captured by the camera of Saudi photographer Rashood Al-Harthi.
The Al-Sawda Mountain is one of Saudi Arabia’s highest mountains, as it is 3015 meters above sea level. The region is one of the most important Saudi resorts, with cold and rainy weather even during the summer.
Al Arabiya English shares a series of photos showing the beauty of the area’s nature during rainfall.
