A courtroom witnessed tears last Thursday as a south Florida judge realized that the burglary suspect she was trying was actually a former middle-school classmate.

Arthur Booth, 49, was being tried for a June 29 burglary when the judge, Mindy Glazer, recognized the criminal suspect.

The video shows Booth bursting into tears as he also recognized the judge who he used to play soccer with at school.

"Oh my goodness, oh my goodness," Booth said as he cried.

"This was the nicest kid in middle school," the judge said, according to the video. "He was the best kid in middle school. I used to play football with him, all the kids, and look what has happened."

The video has since gone viral on social media and websites.
