A video of a plane gliding through the clear New York City night sky across the ‘super moon,’ appearing to have been taken right out of a scene in a movie, made the rounds on social media on Tuesday.

The ‘super moon’ phenomenon begun Monday night across the world as the moon appeared larger than its usual size – a spectacle that hasn’t occurred since 1948, 68 years ago. The moon passed within 216,486 miles (348,400 km) of Earth’s surface, about 22,000 miles (35,400 km) closer than average.

Other videos of planes flying over Australia and other countries throught the ‘super moon’ also went viral.
