Aleppo’s seven-year-old Bana meets Erdogan
Bana was among the first to evacuate Eastern Aleppo last Thursday
Eastern Aleppo’s seven-year-old icon Bana Alabed met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday.
The meeting took place at the presidential palace in Turkey’s capital Ankara, where Bana was invited to describe the situation in Aleppo.
Bana was among the first to evacuate Eastern Aleppo last Thursday.
Erdogan tweeted along with a picture: “I was pleased to host @AlabedBana and her family at the Presidential Complex today. Turkey will always stand with the people of Aleppo.”
