Dubai police’s deputy chief Dhahi Khalfan has criticized US reality TV star Kim Kardashian’s visit to the emirate last week.

Kardashian met disabled children during a visit to Dubai’s Rashid Pediatric Therapy Center.

On Twitter, Dhahi Khalfan wrote that Dubai “does not need the presence of Kim Kardashian in charity centers. These centers invite good people, and thank God there are many good people.”

In another tweet, directed at Mariam Othman, CEO of the Rashid Pediatric Therapy Center, Khalfan wrote: “Disabled children do not need the likes of Kim Kardashian, but need people who do good things.”

Kardashian also held a make-up masterclass in the city.
