In an emotional scene that has captured the hearts of Tunisians, Ali Borni appeared with his mother in order to convince her to accept his kidney.

Borni, a 21-years-old Tunisian football player, who could not see his mother suffering her kidney illness without offering to help pleaded with her during a taping of a popular Tunisian show.

The mother and Ali both appeared on I have something to say television show, where Ali asked his mother publicly to take his kidney.

The mother agreed to appear on the show thinking that she would see her other son, disappeared six years ago but reportedly lives in Italy.

She repeatedly refused to accept her son’s kidney offer, fearing that it would end his career as a footballer and could even work against him when looking for a wife or later as a father.

Ali, who had a total emotional breakdown during the show had insisted for over 45 minutes that his mother take up his offer.

In the end, she finally accepts her son’s offer in an episode that has sparked many reactions on social media.
