Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to the United States, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz announced on Tuesday that he has joined the Twitter conversation, adding that he is honored to serve my country and leadership.

“We will continuously work to enhance the dialogue between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America to strengthen our strategic partnership,” Prince Khalid bin Salman wrote in his first tweet. His debut on Twitter has coincided with the visit of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to the US where he is scheduled to meet President Donald Trump.

An hour later, he sent out another tweet, which read: “My prayers go out to the brave men defending the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, you are a great source of pride, may God grant you guidance and protection.”

Later, expressing his views on Saudi-US relations, wrote that education has always been its cornerstone. “With hundreds of thousands of Saudi students who have attended American universities over the years. Their aspirations for a better future serve as the best representation of the Kingdom,” Prince Khalid bin Salman wrote in the tweet.
