Twitter users were taken aback when many received notifications on their phones made up of randomized characters on Tuesday.
Twitter’s CEO Jack Dorsey said that they were “seeing this issue too” and that his company was “on it”. Shortly afterwards, he said that the problem “should be fixed now” and that they were “working to understand why it happened”.
