Iran’s semi-official Fars news agency said its website is no longer accessible in and out of Iran after the US Treasury added them on its Specially Designated Nationals (SDNs) list, the agency said on Friday.
The agency is closely affiliated with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
Fars said on Twitter that it was notified of its designation by email.
Previously at Farsnews.com, the agency has now moved its online address to Farsnews.ir.
