The government of a province in Pakistan has warned the government teachers not to work in newspaper, electronic channel or in NGOs and has asked them either to quit the job or face the music.

According to a Daily Times report, Sindh Minister for Education and Literacy Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar advised teachers working as journalists to quit their other responsibilities and pay full attention to teaching.

Dahar said that those teachers who were doing jobs in other than schools were not only cheating their profession but they were also creating problems for deserving people.

According to the report, he also requested owners of the media houses and NGOs to dismiss government teachers from their organizations.
