A Syrian version of the hit HBO show ‘Game of Thrones’ is set to air across the Arab world this Ramadan.
Titled ‘Orchidea,’ the show will air on Abu Dhabi TV after being shot in several areas across Romania and France.
The Arabic series, directed by Syrian actor-director Hatem Ali, features characters very similar to those from the Golden Globe award-winning show.
Ramadan is known to be a month when star-studded dramas from the Arab world take over television screens in households all over the region.
