Academy Award winning actor Whoopi Goldberg and co-host of American day time television show The View congratulated Saudi women after a Royal decree granting them license to drive was issued.
On Thursday’s episode Goldberg said that something amazing happened in the world, “Something that we thought would never see,” she said.
“We want to say congratulations to the women of Saudi Arabia who are finally in the driver’s seat, literally for the first time women will be able to drive. I think that is wonderful,” she told her studio audience.
