Baby Princess Charlotte's new present is 'From Israel with Love'
Along with this gift is a letter to Queen Elizabeth II from Rivlin and his wife, Nechama, sent in his capacity as Israel’s head of state
Israeli President Reuven Rivlin has gifted Prince William and Kate a dress for their newly born royal baby girl.
The new princess, named Charlotte Elizabeth Diana now has a dress inscribed with the words “From Israel with love,” according to The Telegraph. She can also pin a brooch to her new dress than contains a Hasma, a Jewish symbol of good fortune.
Along with this gift is a letter to Queen Elizabeth II from Rivlin and his wife, Nechama, sent in his capacity as Israel’s head of state. The letter expressed the congratulations and good wishes from the people of Israel to the entire British royal family.
"On behalf of ourselves and of the citizens of the State of Israel, please allow us to offer our congratulations and good wishes on the birth of Your Majesty's great-granddaughter, the new baby princess, to you and all the members of the Royal Family," the couple wrote.
President Rivlin was beaten to the congratulations when prime-minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke by phone with his British counterpart David Cameron and congratulated him after the royal birth on Saturday.
