Six Jordanian nationals have been picked to join the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) to be held in Silicon Valley, California, from the 22-24 June, the US Embassy in Jordan has announced.
Those from Jordan attending the Summit include Massa Al Dalqamouni, Kamel Al-Asmar, Rasha Al-Khateeb, Sami Hourani, Sima Najjar, and Lama Sha’sha’a. They will interact with 700 entrepreneurs, leaders, investors, and speakers from every corner of the globe.
The entrepreneurs will be joined by high-level US Government officials, including President Barack Obama, Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker, and Administrator of the Small Business Administration Maria Contreras-Sweet, the statement said.
Administrator of USAID Gayle Smith, Ambassador at-Large for Global Women’s Issues Catherine Russell, and Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs Richard Stengel, will also be part of the Summit.
