Egypt’s striker “Gedo” returns home to Ahly

Egypt’s striker Mohamed Nagy “Gedo” has rejoined his home club Ahly on Monday after ending his six-month contract with English Premier League's, Hull Side, Ahlam Online reported.

Earlier this month, Gedo underwent foot surgery in England due to an injury caused by fatigue.

Ahly’s official site stated the football player is expected to get back into training following examinations and physical therapy.

Despite cutting his term short with the English Premier League, the 28-year-old played a key role and scored five goals for the Tigers in 12 games.

In the 2010 African Cup of Nations, Gedo scored five goals which helped Egypt win. However, he will miss the Pharaohs' World Cup qualifying games next month against Zimbabwe and Mozambique.
