Egypt’s Ashour reaches Squash World Championship semi-finals

Published: Updated:

Egypt’s Ramy Ashour has reached the Squash World Championship semi-final after beating India’s Saurav Ghosal on Thursday, reported the Ahram Online.

“Squash has always been my life, my whole life, but I was doing it wrong. Now I’m doing it right,” Ashour was quoted as saying by the Squash Site after the game.

The Professional Squash Association (PSA) ratings showed that Ashour is one step closer to be the world’s champion.

At the age of 22, Ashour became the youngest player to achieve world No.1 after the legendary Pakistani players Jahangir Khan and Jansher Khan from the 1980s.
