Pakistan wins toss, elects to bat

Pakistan won against Sri Lanka during a game at Sheikh Zayed Stadium

Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq won the toss and elected to bat first in the fifth and final one-day international against Sri Lanka at Sheikh Zayed Stadium on Friday.

Pakistan has already clinched the series 3-1 with Mohammad Hafeez scoring three centuries in the last four ODIs.

Pakistan brought in left-arm spinner Abdul Rehman and fast bowler Anwar Ali for the first time in the series, replacing paceman Bilawal Bhatti and flamboyant allrounder Shahid Afridi, who had to fly home to be with his ill daughter.

Sri Lanka had to make a forced change after Nuwan Kulasekara strained a hamstring. Unorthodox spinner Ajantha Mendis gets his first game of the series.
