Chelsea’s Jose Mourinho slams Egypt’s Salah performance
Mourinho also criticized the performance of Germany’s Andre Schurrle
Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho slammed Egyptian footballer Mohammed Salah after his disappointing performance in the League Cup on Tuesday.
"Yes, [Salah disappointed me], "Mourinho was quoted by UK’s Daily Mail as saying after Tuesday’s game against Shrewsbury.
"If players that played 90 minutes two days ago were fantastic, I expect people who are not playing a lot to raise the level to create me problems," he said.
"I love problems of choices, and it is easy to choose my team for Saturday,” he added.
Mourinho also criticized the performance of Germany’s Andre Schurrle.
Chelsea did not win Tuesday’s game but secured a 1-1 draw against Shrewsbury.
Salah joined Chelsea last January. He only made two appearances since the beginning of the Premier League this season.
