UAE boxer offers Mayweather $5 million gym if he beats Khan
Khan has repeatedly expressed his desire to face Mayweather in the ring
An Emirati boxer said he would give his $5 million gym to U.S. champion Floyd Mayweather should he defeat British boxer Amir Khan, the UAE’s 7DAYS reported Sunday.
Eisa Aldah said he would give up EMD Fitness in Dubai’s upscale Jumeirah area, worth a whopping AED20 million, if the American boxers manages to defeat the British two-time world champion.
“I offer Floyd Mayweather my gym, which costs Dhs20 million, if he fights and wins against Amir Khan,” he told the press following Khan’s visit to the gym for a training session.
“If he beats Amir, I will give him my gym.”
While 37-year-old Mayweather remains an undefeated boxing champion, Aldah said he is confident Khan would beat him should the fight take place.
“I built this gym and I love it,” he told publication.
“But he [Mayweather] cannot beat Amir. I know he cannot beat Amir. He cannot beat the speed of Amir.”
Khan has repeatedly expressed his desire to face Mayweather in the ring.
“Here’s my 2015 goal: To beat Floyd Mayweather in 2015,” Khan tweeted earlier this month.
After the announcement, a shocked Khan said: “Don’t worry, he won’t beat me.”
