Real Madrid’s manager Carlo Ancelotti has been named the 2014 World’s Best Club Coach, the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS) reported Wednesday.

Ancelotti collected 169 points ahead of Atletico de Madrid’s Diego Simeone (139) and Munich’s Spanish manager Pep Guardiola (76).

Last week, Ancelotti came second in FIFA’s ranking for the Coach of the Year award.

The Italian coach led his team to win both the UEFA Champions League as well as the FIFA Club World Cup in Morocco.

In 2007, Ancelotti won the gold medal with AC Milan, IFFHS reported.
