The World Air Sports Federation (FAI) appointed Saudi Arabia's Mubarak Al-Suwalim a member of the higher committee in FAI World Games tournament to be held from Dec. 1 to 12 in Dubai.

Al-Suwailim, general secretary of Saudi Air Sports Federation, will be responsible for organizing all parachuting games and coordinating between the FAI in Switzerland and the higher committee in Dubai.

Al-Suwailim will also be responsible for choosing the games for the tournament, qualifying the contestants and the judges and other matters related to the parachuting games.

Al-Suwailim said he was honored to represent the Kingdom in an international tournament and work with the higher committee head and head of Dubai Sports Council Saeed Harib.

“The FAI World Air Games Tournament is the biggest tournament in air sports games. Being appointed as a member in the higher committee proves that the Kingdom is more than qualified to rival international standards in air sports,” said Al-Suwailim.

He said the upcoming event is FAI’s third world tournament and it includes 22 different games with 1,700 contestants from all over the world.
