Chelsea winger Mohammad Salah took to Twitter on Thursday to confirm his departure from the North London club, putting an end to speculation from fans.

Salah’s response comes a few days after Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho said he saw the Egyptian player’s future “elsewhere.”

“We have five wingers and it is better not to have Salah back,” Mourinho told the club’s official channel.

Salah, 23, joined Chelsea in January 2014 from Swiss team Basel, before being loaned out to Italian club Fiorentina in January 2015, where he became known for his stellar performance.

He is currently being pursued by Inter Milan, AC Milan, AS Roma and Liverpool, according to reports.
