Arsenal donate $1.50 per ticket to Syrian refugees
Reports: Manchesters City and United to follow
Arsene Wenger reveals that Arsenal will donate £1 of every ticket sold at their SaturdayPremier League match against Stoke City Football Club to victims of the Syrian crisis.
"We decided to give £1 per ticket sold because it’s an immediate need for people without anything who have had to flee that country" the French coach said, according to Arsenal's official website.
The club often do their charity work in and around North London helping homeless kids in the area and putting money towards Arsenal legend, Bob Wilson`s Willow foundation, they have however already donated £400,000 overseas in the last couple of years, according the the site.
Wenger confirmed "For the game against Stoke, every £1 per ticket will be donated to Syrian crisis.'
There are reports as well that Manchesters City and United along with Chelsea will also be doing the same.
