A state-of-the-art fully air-conditioned sports stadium, the first of its kind, is set to be built in Dubai, and is expected to cost around $820 million.
The stadium that will have a seating capacity of 60,000, Dubai’s Media office announced on Twitter on Wednesday.
The stadium’s design which comply with FIFA’s standards, and will be named after Dubai’s ruler Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid al-Maktoum, who reviewed the design.

Other facilities will include a training hall, a car park with 5,000 spaces, a sports museum and conference halls.

Sheikh Mohammed applauded the design and ordered the execution of the project according to the scheduled timeline, the state-run news agency WAM said.
