VIDEO: How did the Kuwaiti footballer show solidarity with Aleppo?
He tweeted his picture holding the shirt and wrote “Our genuine prayers for our brothers in Aleppo”
Fahad Ansari, a Kuwaiti footballer for the Saudi Premier League club Al-Ittihad showed solidarity with the people in eastern Aleppo, Syria, during a match against al-Fath on Saturday.
After Ansari scored the second goal that ended in victory for his team, he lifted a white shirt that read “O God, please bring victory to our brothers in Aleppo.”
He then tweeted his picture with the shirt and wrote, “Our genuine prayers for our brothers in Aleppo”

This comes at a time when what is being called as the worst genocide this century is being committed by Syrian president Bashar al-Assad’s regime forces and allies in the second largest city in Syria.
