Tunisian to be first woman to referee match between two professional male teams
Tunisia’s professional football league has decided to assign four women to run a football match between two professional male teams in an unprecedented event in the region.
Dorsaf Ganoiati will run the match between Stade Tunisien and Union Monastir.
This match will be the final of the season in the second professional division. It will also be a celebration between the two teams particularly after they made their return to the first division.
Ganoiati was pleased to enter history as the first woman to lead a match between two professional male teams in Asia and Africa.
