Argentinian Edgardo Bauza was sacked as Saudi Arabia coach after just five games in charge, the Saudi Arabia Football Federation announced on Wednesday.

Bauza replaced Bert van Marwjik over two months ago, after the Dutchman lead the Gulf team to the World Cup.

Bauza’s short tenure included two victories over Latvia and Jamaica, but also defeats to Ghana, Portugal and Bulgaria.

The federation have not announced who Bauza’s replacement will be.
