A former Chelsea footballer has told Sky News he suffered `life-changing racial abuse` as a teenager with the club in the 1980s.
The player claims his football career was ruined by traumatic abuse which he says "'destroyed me as a person". Emma Birchley's report identifies the man only as 'John', in order to protect his anonymity.
