Ahead of a friendly match between Saudi Arabia and Belgium, fans are recounting their team’s famous goal against their European counterparts during the 1994 World Cup.
Saeed Al-Owairan scored the famous goal in 1994 FIFA World Cup against Belgium at the RFK Stadium in Washington, DC, that was later voted the sixth best in FIFA's Goal of the Century rankings.
Saudi Arabia finished second in their group that year and qualified for the knock-out stages.
Saudi Arabia’s national team arrived in Belgium late on Sunday for their friendly game on Tuesday which will be played at the Heysel Stadium in Brussels.

Saudi Arabia qualified for the World Cup after finishing second in their Asian Qualifier group with 19 points, ahead of Australia on goal difference and behind Japan by a single point.
They will play Russia at the FIFA 2018 World Cup in Moscow this summer during the opening game.
