Tunisian Malek Jaziri continues to carry the Arab flag at tennis’ highest stages after making the US Open men’s doubles semi-finals with Moldavian partner Radu Albot.
The duo defeated fourth seeds Jamie Murray and Bruno Soares 7-5, 6-4 on Wednesday and will meet Lukasz Kubot and Marcelo Melo on Thursday for a spot in the final.
Jaziri is currently experiencing a high after a career-best three-month earlier this season that saw him get his first two top-10 wins over Grigor Dimitrov and Marin Cilic, reached the Dubai semi-finals and winning his maiden ATP final in Istanbul.
