Jordanian goalkeeper Amer Shafi gave viewers a match to remember in a friendly game against India, where he scored a goal for his team with a long kick from his penalty area.
Indian goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu had passed the ball to Amer with a long kick himself, which Amer returned to Sandhu’s surprise who tried to block the ball, but to no avail, pushing the ball into his own goal.
In the Saturday meeting in Amman, Jordan won 2-1 at the King Abdullah International Stadium.
