English professional footballer Wayne Rooney, who plays for Major League Soccer team D.C. United has come to Saudi Arabia to take part in the Formula-E championship in Ad-Diriyah city.
The football star tweeted his excitement about the event saying:

The freestyle trials of Ad-Diriyah Formula E-Prix race drivers began on Friday with the participation of a group of seasoned drivers as well as new talents taking part in the races for the first time.
The events witnessed the presence of a huge number of motoring enthusiasts and a unique interaction of young and old visitors.
The simulation games were the most popular, where the public could feel the competitive atmosphere in the interactive experience of the Formula E event.
