Clooney, Lebanese lawyer snapped after holiday together
Things are heating up between George Clooney and his rumored Lebanese girlfriend Amal Alamuddin
George Clooney and his alleged Lebanese girlfriend Amal Alamuddin were spotted leaving a restaurant in New York, smiling and noticeably more tanned after their holiday in Tanzania and the Seychelles, The Daily Mail reported Wednesday.
Clooney and 36-year-old lawyer Alamuddin were first spotted together in October.
While the award-winning actor denied the romance, calling her “just a friend,” Clooney took Alamuddin to a White House screening of his film “Monuments Men” only weeks later.
The 52-year-old also skipped the Oscars last month to spend time in Alamuddin’s hometown.
The lawyer is representing WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange in his extradition proceedings with Sweden, where he is wanted for questioning in a sexual assault case.
Alamuddin specializes in international, human rights, extradition and criminal law, and has been appointed as an advisor to former U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan.
