An anxious Saudi groom called on the civil defense to help restore power to his wedding celebration on Saturday, after a strong sandstorm cut the power, jeopardizing the big night.
Forces responded immediately and restored power to the celebration using its power generators for three hours, Mohammad Al-Hammadi, spokesman of Riyadh Civil Defense, told Al Arabiya net.
The storm affected several areas in the Saudi capital and its suburbs.
