Barack Obama has given an 'N Sync-inspired meme a new lease of life after a photograph of the president and singer Justin Timberlake was posted with a clear reference to “It's gonna be May.”

The meme, celebrated every April 30, sprung from the 'N Sync smash hit "It's Gonna Be Me” on which the young Timberlake famously mispronounces “me” as “May.”

This April 30, Obama endorsed the meme in a post on his Facebook page.

The photograph shows Timberlake drawing the president’s attention to something on a smartphone in the singer’s hand. The caption reads: “It’s gonna be May.”

The page has more than 465,000 likes.
