A video of three coffee pots being auctioned off in Saudi Arabia for $24,000 has stirred anger on social media, with criticism pouring in from across the kingdom.

The 46-second video shows the three hand-made coffee pots by famous Syrian pot maker Raslan al-Saif being sold off.

In reaction to the short clip, social media users took to the Internet.

“We have four coffee pots here, no one touched them,” one twitter user, Abu Ahmad al-Rashed, wrote, poking fun at the amount paid for the three pots.

Another user, @Saudi_issue, wrote, “everything gets more expensive in the Arab world, expect humans, they lose their value a bit more every year.”

“Why were they Nescafe in it? People have no brains anymore,” @medanaltahriri tweeted.
