Barca’s Gerard Pique sets off stink bomb on team plane to Finland
Pique kept his lips sealed forcing the flight attendants to apologise to disgruntled passengers
Barcelona defender Gerard Pique annoyed airplane stuff after letting off a stink bomb on the club’s flight to Finland, the Spanish daily newspaper Sports reported this week.
Pique, who activated the stink bomb at the rear of the aircraft, and did not inform the cabin crew, who were forced to apologise to disgruntled passengers.
Barca’s team was flying to Helsinki where it played a friendly match against Helsingin Jalkapalloklubi on Saturday.
Pique, who is known for his love of pranks, has previously announced the premature arrival of his baby son with pop star Shakira before admitting it was a joke.
The footballer is reportedly expecting his second child with Lebanese-Columbian pop superstar Shakira, set to arrive in January.
