Hotel staff fail to recognize Tom Cruise on 'secret mission'
Cruise was in England to film his new Mission Impossible movie
A hotel staff member in Peterborough failed to recognize Hollywood star Tom Cruise, The Sun reported Sunday.
It was revealed the actor's visit to the UK was kept under wraps for security reasons and production staff have been keen to keep Cruise’s movements top secret.
Cruise, who was in England to film his new Mission Impossible movie, was seemingly very successful in keeping his mission secret, to the point where he was asked by one of the waiters at the Marriott hotel if he had a hotel loyalty card when ordering breakfast.
The 5th installment of the saga includes stars such as Simon McBurney, Alec Baldwin, and Sean Harris.
Mission: Impossible 5 is directed by Christopher McQuarrie from a script by Drew Pearce. It is set to open in theaters on Christmas Day 2015.
