One man from China’s Guagzhou city decided to put an end to his bachelorhood by purchasing more than $80,000 worth of iPhone 6s
The Chinese celebrated Single Day on Tuesday during which the country’s singletons marked their romantic status by treating themselves to billions of dollars’ worth of online-retail therapy.
One man from China’s Guagzhou city decided to put an end to his bachelorhood by purchasing more than $80,000 worth of iPhone 6s as part of an elaborate to propose to his girlfriend.
To his dismay, and that of the people that gathered to document the would-have-been romantic display, she said no.
The tech worker, the Independent reported, arranged 99 iPhone 6s in a heart in which he stood across from his girlfriend holding a bouquet of flowers.
After she said no, in front of colleagues and friends, photos of what could have been an elaborate display of love, emerged on the Weibo social network.
