A young Israeli woman claimed she was kicked off a bus in Israel for having blue hair after the driver, joined by passengers, yelled at her to get off, the Jerusalem Post reported this week.

“What a disgrace to the State of Israel! How do you take the color of the flag and put it on your head?” the bus driver said, Nati Ni posted on her Facebook page in Hebrew.

“You despicable person! You vile human being! Don’t you have any parents that educated you?”

“Did you grow up with gentiles?” he added, she said.

“I didn’t do anything to deserve such treatment,” Ni said in her post, which has been liked more than 2,000 times as of Saturday.

Two passengers, she alleged, stood up and started clapping in support of the driver.

“What is worse is that near the driver sat two ‘righteous individuals’ who applauded the driver and congratulated him for standing up for his beliefs,” she wrote.

One of the comments under Nati Ni’s post said she should sue Kavim, the company operating the bus she got in.

“The driver’s behavior as described by the passenger, is in complete contravention of the company spirit and code of conduct,” a spokesperson form the company told an Israeli channel.

“In light of the passenger’s complaint, the driver will be summoned for a hearing to determine the circumstances of the incident.”
