Party politics? Ex-glamor model wants to become a British MP
Jodie Marsh would make it mandatory for children to care for a pet “to teach them responsibility”
A former British glamor has revealed she wants to become a Member of Parliament and said she wants to “start her own party” to be elected to the House of Commons.
'There's so much wrong that needs to changed and people listen to me,' Jodie Marsh, the former model who is now a bodybuilder, told The Sun newspaper this week.
“I'd get doctors to prescribe personal trainers instead of anti-depressants,” Marsh said after detailing how her manifesto would be based on fitness and health.
She would also make it mandatory for children to care for a pet “to teach them responsibility” as part of her education policies.
“She isn't the first glamor model to try and run for public office, as Katie Price famously stood as an independent in the Stretford and Urmston constituency of Greater Manchester,” the Daily Mail reported, referring to a British glamor model popularly known as “Jordan.”
