‘Everybody comes to Hollywood,’ but is Madonna house-hunting in Tel Aviv?
The soon-to-be-completed apartment building boasts glass walls and panoramic sea views
Madonna is readying to purchase a luxury apartment on Rothschild Boulevard in Tel Aviv, the UK’s Daily Mail has reported.
The newspaper reported that the "Hollywood" singer, as well as Israel-born Natalie Portman, are looking into a new development, the Meier-on-Rothschild Tower, with Madonna being spotted clutching a brochure for the development in 2013.
The soon-to-be-completed apartment building boasts glass walls and panoramic sea views and stands at 42 floors high. The penthouse apartment costs an estimated $55 million, according to the Jerusalem Post.
The Material Girl is known to have an affinity for Israel and kicked off her 2012 world tour in the country and has stated in concerts that she is “in love with Israel.”
The largest penthouse is named the Palace in the Sky and features a private elevator, 12-seater dining room and two terraces, according to the Daily Mail.
The tower was designed by Pritzker prize-winning architect Richard Meier.
